Mijn landschapswerk is geworteld in plekken waar de natuur groots, rauw en compromisloos aanvoelt. Ik voel me aangetrokken tot ruig terrein, open horizonten en de stille intensiteit van wilde ruimtes. Deze landschappen zijn geen achtergrond.

Ze zijn een aanwezigheid, gevormd door tijd, weer en geologische kracht.

In deze categorie vind je landschapsfotografie én mixed media landschapskunst, waarin ik fotografisch beeld combineer met verf, textuur en gelaagde oppervlakken. Door dit proces wordt het landschap meer dan een uitzicht. Het wordt een ervaring: een moment van verstilling, schaal en verbondenheid.

Veel van mijn werken onderzoeken het contrast tussen de overweldigende kracht van de natuur en de kleinheid van de mens, zichtbaar of slechts voelbaar.

De landschappen die ik vastleg nodigen uit tot langzaam kijken, alsof het beeld een drempel is die je vraagt om uit de moderne snelheid te stappen en terug te keren naar aandacht.

My landscape work is rooted in places where nature feels vast, raw, and uncompromising. I am drawn to rugged terrain, open horizons, and the quiet intensity of wild spaces.

These landscapes are not backgrounds. They are presences, shaped by time, weather, and geological force.

In this category, you will find landscape photography as well as mixed media landscape art, where I combine photographic imagery with paint, texture, and layered surfaces.

Through this process, the landscape becomes more than a view. It becomes an experience: a moment of stillness, scale, and connection.

Many of my works explore the contrast between the overwhelming power of nature and the smallness of the human presence, whether visible or simply sensed. The landscapes I capture invite slow looking, as if the image were a threshold asking you to step out of modern speed and return to attention.
