COLLAGES | Digitale & Analoge Mixed Media met Vintage Magazineknipsels

Mijn collagewerk combineert digitale en analoge technieken met een herkenbare vintage twist. Ik maak mixed media collages met authentieke knipsels uit bijna 100 jaar oude tijdschriften, gekozen om hun typografie, vervaagde kleuren en verweerde papierstructuur.

Ik combineer deze vintage fragmenten met fotografie, verf en gelaagde texturen om kunstwerken te maken die tastbaar, sfeervol en tijdloos aanvoelen.

De natuur staat vaak centraal in mijn collages, waarin ik thema’s onderzoek zoals landschap, verbondenheid en de plek van de mens in de natuurlijke wereld.

Collage is voor mij niet alleen een techniek, maar een manier om beelden te maken die meerdere lagen tegelijk dragen: verleden en heden, het zichtbare en het gevoelde. Deze werken zijn gemaakt voor verzamelaars die houden van textured mixed media kunst en kunstwerken die uitnodigen tot langzaam kijken.

My collage work combines digital and analog techniques with a distinctive vintage twist. I create mixed media collages using authentic clippings from nearly 100-year-old magazines, selected for their typography, faded tones, and weathered paper textures.

I merge these vintage fragments with photography, paint, and layered surfaces to create artworks that feel tactile, atmospheric, and timeless.

Nature often takes center stage in my collages, where I explore themes such as landscape, belonging, and the human place within the natural world.

For me, collage is not merely a technique, but a way of creating images that hold multiple layers at once: past and present, the visible and the felt. These works are made for collectors who are drawn to textured mixed media art and artworks that invite slow looking.
