Tenacious betekent 'vasthoudend'. Zo ervoer ik dit uitgedroogde blad van de paradijsplant (Strelitzia Regina). Al het vocht is er uit getrokken en alleen de krachtige nerven houden het nog bijeen. Als twee vrouwenbenen die omhoog wijzen, knieen tegen elkaar, heeft het blad een bijna sensuele vorm aangenomen.

I experienced this dried out leaf of the Strelizia 'bird of paradise plant' as being tenacious. All the fluids have gone and the powerful veins keep it all together. Like two female legs pointing up, knees held together, the leaf has almost taken on a sensual form.
