Alongside my work in digital photography, I deeply enjoy the craftsmanship of painting and encaustics (working with wax). These techniques bring a completely different dynamic—there’s no “undo” button as in digital editing. That unpredictability is exactly what makes the process exciting and creatively challenging for me.

The pieces I offer here combine monoprint and painting techniques on Japanese rice paper. Rice paper is extremely thin and requires a delicate approach, but it offers a beautiful texture that gives each piece a unique dimension.
