Alongside my work in digital photography, I greatly enjoy the artisanal aspects of painting and encaustics (working with wax). These techniques bring an entirely different energy—there’s no “undo” button like in digital editing. That unpredictability is what makes the process so engaging and creatively fulfilling for me.

The works I offer here combine monoprints and painting techniques on Japanese rice paper. Rice paper is very thin and demands a delicate approach, but it offers a beautiful texture that adds a unique dimension to the piece.
